In new comedy/horror/thriller Freaky, Kathryn Newton plays Millie, a young girl in high school who, after swapping bodies with a deranged serial killer; she discovers that she has less than 24 hours before the change becomes permanent.
Directed by Christopher Landon; Vince Vaughn, Celeste O’Connor, and Alan Ruck are among the key cast.
This looks like promising, silly fun.
Another thing that stands out is how much fun Newton must have had playing Millie. Particularly once she turned killer.
I’m in for the two Newton roles and the Halloween silliness. Who can believe that Halloween is so close already?
Uriah Shelton, Katie Finneran, Kelly Lamor Wilson, Dana Drori, Misha Osherovich, Mitchell Hoog, Melissa Collazo and Dustin Lewis also star.
Freaky Release Dates: November 13th, 2020 (US)…

Wow it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a trailer for a Vince Vaughn movie (probably wedding crashers) and thought oh that looks fun! I’ll watch it 🙂
😁 ! Can’t blame you. This one really does look fun.
I’m a huge fan of the Happy Death Day films and I desperately want to see a third movie. Until that happens, Freaky looks like the next best option.
In that case, how great that Freaky has come along. 🤓 I actually haven’t seen Happy Death Day just yet – but I intend to.
The movie I was desperate to see a sequel to for a long time is Ex Machina. I’ve mostly given up now. Especially since the writer/director explicitly said he wouldn’t do one.
Ex_Machina 2: The Ava Chronicles would be awesome. It would be completely different, but I’d love to see that to.
