Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow’s latest movie is all about the 1967 police raid in Detroit, USA. A raid that led to one of the largest citizen uprisings in the history of the United States.
John Boyega, Will Poulter, John Krasinski, Anthony Mackie and Jack Reynor star.
This is definitely on my list of the best trailers of 2017. Boyega and Poulter’s accents sound great, according to my non-American ears. I look forward to the seriously tense scenes that are surely coming our way.
Tyler James Williams, Kaitlyn Dever and Hannah Murray also star.
The original Point Break action film directed by Kathryn Bigelow and starring Patrick Swaze, Keanu Reeves and Gary Busey was a hit. Now, twenty three years later, a remake is coming.
This time, starring Luke Bracey, Edgar Ramirez, Teresa Palmer and Ray Winstone; director Ericsson Core’s plot appears to be roughly the same, except for a new character or two and some added relevance for modern times.

The good news is, I didn’t find myself laughing out loud at the new trailer the way I did at its predecessor, so that’s a good sign… probably? Maybe?
