ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER (2025): New Trailer From Paul Thomas Anderson, Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, Teyana Taylor…

One Battle After Another is the latest movie from Leonardo DiCaprio, Benicio Del Toro Teyana Taylor and Sean Penn.

Written/directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, it is a crime/drama/thriller story about a rescue mission for the 16-year-old daughter of one of the members of a group of ex-revolutionaries.

Interesting.

I’m curious about the revolution in question, DiCaprio’s performance and the daughter’s strength. It’s also great to see Del Toro back in action.

What are your feelings about One Battle After Another, so far?

Regina Hall, Aladria Brown, Chase Infiniti, Wood Harris, Alana Haim, D.W. Moffett, Shayna McHayle, John Hoogenakker, Jose Rico and Raymond Ruiz also star.

KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON (2023): New Trailer From Martin Scorsese, Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons…

A historical crime/drama set in the 1920s is the latest from Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Killers of the Flower Moon focuses on the relationship between the United States and its indigenous people, especially after members of the Osage tribe are mysteriously murdered, leading to an investigation involving F.B.I director J. Edgar Hoover.

I’ll start by addressing the humongous elephant in the room, following the above potentially confusing introductory paragraphs. Killers of the Flower Moon will not feature Dicaprio reprising his role as Hoover, as per the 2011 film, J. Edgar. He’s playing Ernest Burkhart and only Ernest Burkhart.

Now that we’ve cleared that up, and my giggles have dissipated, I’m intrigued by the smarts referred to at 0:22 in this trailer. I’m also very curious to see the evolution of Dicaprio and Gladstone’s characters.

Dark history is certainly what we’re in for with this one. As such, the question is, will you be ready to see this story told by such brilliant filmmakers? If so, how are you feeling about sitting through the 3.26-hour run time?

Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Cara Jade Myers, Jillian Dion, Jason Isbell, Tantoo Cardinal, Brendan Fraser, Janae Collins, William Belleau, Sturgill Simpson, Louis Cancelmi, Jason Isbell and Scott Shepherd also star

Killers of the Flower Moon Release Dates: October 6th, 2023 (US); October 20th, 2023, UK…

DON’T LOOK UP (2021): New Trailer From Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep…

Don't Look Up (2021), Leonardo DiCaprio, (Netflix)

Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio are the stars of new drama/comedy/sci-fi movie Don’t Look Up.

Directed by Adam McKay; at the centre of the story are two low-level astronomers who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet; the kind that will completely destroy planet Earth.

Great title for a movie about an ‘end of the world event’ coming from above, right?

I’m very ready for the comedy and dramatics that this wonderful cast is going to deliver. Also happy to see Lawrence back. These days I just love seeing DiCaprio in non-biographical movies. I think I got my fill with Catch Me if You Can (2002), The Aviator (2004), J. Edgar (2011); which all seemed to happen in quick succession.

Gina Gershon, Matthew Perry, Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Jona Hill also star.

Don’t Look Up Release Dates: December 24th, 2021, (US & UK), Netflix…

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino’s latest film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino and Margot Robbie has a new trailer.

Ready or not, here is a 2.5-minute tease of a crime/drama/thriller about a TV actor and his stunt double, as they embark on making a name for themselves in the film industry.

So far, I must admit that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has not quite garnered the same kind of excitement within me as Tarantino’s previous films. I blame that on this trailer appearing to be a slight change of pace/style compared to Tarantino’s other films. Nevertheless, I still can’t wait to see how he’ll keep things interesting. I mean, the man has never before let us down, right?

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019), Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sony Pictures Entertainment

Set during the Charles Manson murders in 1969 in Los Angeles, a TV actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry.

Tarantino’s style and the cast are all the reason I need.

Also, am I correct in thinking that this is Pitt and DiCaprio’s first movie together?

Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Kurt Russell, James Marsden, Emile Hirsch, Damian Lewis and Burt Reynolds also star.
