Ti West is the director of In A Valley Of Violence, the new western starring John Travolta, Karen Gillan and Ethan Hawke. There’s the promise of a little gun play, some revenge,  a sprinkling of misfits and of course, a mysterious stranger…

I wonder which of Ethan Hawkes 2016 westerns I’ll like more, In A Valley Of Violence  or The Magnificent Seven? The gun play in the latter tells me it might win. But then there’s the humour in the former which feels reminiscent of A Million Ways To Die In The West (2014)…
