Set in a world where people collect pocket monsters (Pokémon) to do battle, Justice Smith ( Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom (2018) is a boy who meets an intelligent monster named Pikachu who wants to be a detective.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman while Ryan Reynolds voices Pikachu.

I personally know of Pikachu but I don’t know much about Pokemon. I’m mostly curious because I rather like Smith; even though I’ve only ever seen him in Jurassic World – Falling Kingdom.

It probably goes without saying but Reynolds’s involvement is another reason i’m watching.

Suki Waterhouse, Bill Nighy, Kathryn Newton, Rita Ora, Chris Geere, Ken Watanabe, Karan Soni and Kadiff Kirwan also star.
