ONE SHOT WITH ED SHEERAN – A MUSIC EXPERIENCE (2025): New Trailer From Philip Barantini, Starring Ed Sheeran…

From Boiling Point (2023) and Adolescence (2025) Director Philip Barantini, One Shot With Ed Sheeran – A Music Experience is a new Netflix music special. The kind where Sheeran performs his hits in one continuous take while moving around New York City.

I’m in to see just how engaging this experience will be, to witness the technical achievement and watch Sheeran put a smile on the faces of many New Yorkers.

I’ll also be playing ‘spot the security,’ because I imagine there had to be at least one around, just in case, right?

Will you be watching?

One Shot With Ed Sheeran: A Music Experience Release Dates: November 21st, 2025 (US & UK), Netflix…

Happy Film Loving,

  1. I have a jaded opinion reality tv is actually more scripted than scripted tv, so while I applaud the concept on display here, I would be all-in if they did it live in one continuous take. Now you’ve got something. I am sure this was nowhere near as seamless as it will appear in the final product. That being said, I like it when artists take a big swing and no matter how staged it might be at times, it’s still a great performer performing!

    1. I hear you Bruce. Though, I wouldn’t classify this as reality TV. At least not in the way the most popular reality shows feel more like highly produced scenarios for scandalous dramatic effect.

We’ll see how this turns out, especially since the director behind it is known for truly shooting films/TV show episodes in one continuous shot without editing.

    2. For those TV shows and films, plenty of rehearsal, choreography and retakes are often required, so that the one take rule is adhered to. Since Sheeran will be out in the real world with, presumably members of the public, you’re right to wonder, how much ‘preparation’ happened before hand, and precisely what kind. I’m interested in seeing that behind the scenes episode, too. I hope Netflix provide that.

You’re absolutely right, Sheeran is an artist in all the ways one can be.

      1. I just had a brief discussion with Mrs. B about this, and she thought I might be a bit harsh going into this, and perhaps my skepticism should be at least placed on hold until I actually see the final product.😁
