The official trailer for director Antoine Fuqua’s Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, has arrived.

Bring on the music and all the great performances. I’m also ready for all the strong history-making characters here.

Lastly, I look forward to watching Michael follow his heart to bring to light all his musical ideas.

May the prosthetics only prove to be minimally distracting, if at all.

Miles Teller, Jaafar Jackson, Nia Long, Colman Domingo, Kat Graham, Larenz Tate, Juliano Krue Valdi, Tony von Halle, Derek Luke, Jessica Sula, Hank Northrop, Joe Gillette, Laura Harrier, Nathaniel Logan McIntyre and Joseph David-Jones also star.

Michael Release Dates: April 24th, 2026 (US & UK)…

Happy Film Loving,

G

  1. There really are many iconic characters from the world of music featured here, including the incomparable Quincy Jones.

  2. I was wondering if it’s going to touch on the controversy with the two little boys, but it seems the decided to trim that and focus on the big picture.
He was a legendary musician and a great natural talent, not even mentioning a hard worker, but also very troubled and eccentric private person.

    1. Corey Feldman said he’s innocent, in an interview with Matt Laure I caught today. And when he went to the police to give the names of people who abused him, the investigators only wanted to ask him about MJ… I don’t remember the testimony of the boys who accused him but lately im feeling more like the industry pinned their own crimes on MJ, more than anything. He tried to expose the Illuminati before it was fashionable.

      1. So much dirt came out to the open with the #MeToo that I would agree the whole MJ case seems quite tame. Not even mentioning the Epstein debacle which dwarfs even disgraced Weinstein.

  3. Kinda curious after the acclaim of Chalamet as Bob Dylan and the muted response to the Bruce Springsteen movie whether the sun has set on musical biopics. I guess if anything is to jumpstart the trend it ought to be the King of Pop. Maybe this’ll go the distance like Bohemian Rhapsody!

    1. Interesting questions and great point. I didn’t watch the Dylan and Springsteen biopics, but I suspect it’s likely, timing and artist-specific, among other things. Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) was indeed magic, I agree. I also liked Rocketman (2019).
