Starring Seth Rogen, Sarah Snook and Sean Whalen, An American Pickle is a new Brandon Trost directed comedy about Herschel, an immigrant who works at a pickle factory.

After an unfortunate accident, Herschel, is preserved for 100 years and wakes up in modern day Brooklyn, New York.

I’m always ready for a new Rogen comedy. Always ready! And this certainly looks just like the kind of silliness I’ve been needing. Plus it’s set in New York.

I’m even more interested since Rogen is playing two characters. The last time I saw that executed well was in Tom Hardy’s Legend (2015).

Jorma Taccone, Joanna Adler, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Geoffrey Cantor, David Mattey, Charles Rogers, Kevin O’Rourke, Eliot Glazer and Adam Ratcliffe also star.
