Outlaw King is a new David Mackenzie-directed historical drama about Robert the Bruce, the great 14th-century Scottish figure whose bravery and cunning defeated and repelled the much larger and better-equipped occupying English army.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chris Pine, Florence Pugh and Billy Howle are among the key cast.

I’m interested because of Pine and Taylor-Johnson. I’m intrigued by Robert the Bruce’s story, and I enjoy Scottish accents.

Tony Curran, Alastair Mackenzie, Duncan Lacroix and Stephen Dillane also star.

Lady Macbeth is a new 19th century period drama about a young bride who’s sold into marriage to a middle-aged man.

Directed by William Oldroyd and starring Florence Pugh, Cosmo Jarvis and Christopher Fairbank, the film is based on the book Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk by Nikolai Leskov.

If anything is going to bring out ‘the Lady Macbeth’ in anyone, being sold into marriage to a much older man will certainly increase the likelihood.

I like this trailer because it’s unlike most. I love it because a woman is taking charge of her destiny. I also feel as though I’m going to adore this film because of the dialogue.

Florence Pugh is pretty much ‘Lady Pugh’ in my mind after this point. It’s a title I wish to bestow upon her, for she shows much promise; talented and arresting as are my other favourites… Kate Winslet, Viola Davis, Charlize Theron, to name just a few. I can tell that you agree.

Lady Macbeth Release Dates: June 2nd, 2017 (US)…
