Like the rest of the world, I love funny people. Though, sadly, I feel like I never seem to be around them enough. Naturally, I adore all the great comedians and entertainers out there. One that’s front of mind right now is Chris Tucker.
He’s on my mind because I recently saw the trailer for a new comedy special he filmed for Netflix. Chris Tucker Live (2015) which will be available on 10th July.
I haven’t actually seen one of Tucker’s standup routines before, but I do love his work in movies.
First there was F. Gary Gray’s Friday (1995) where Tucker featured as the memorable Smokey, friend to Ice Cube’s Craig Jones. Then I saw the Rush Hour trilogy, of which Rush Hour 2 is my favourite.
I’m looking forward to learning more about the comic’s viewpoint and the funny stories of his life.

Chris Tucker is clearly a naturally funny dude. It’s obvious that he lives his humor, and that his performances are in large, him just continuing to live that humor but in front of an audience.
