  1. I agree these actors are super engaging. A little worried about Ridley though… directors sometimes need to take a break. Otherwise the works become macfuddled (exactly – not a world). And this is how the works become, a bit, all over the place. Hope this one isn’t…

    1. Ridley Scott… you’re right. Sometimes creatives do need time away to refresh but I haven’t yet seen evidence that Scott needs that. However, I also haven’t actually got round to watching much of his recent works so I probably can’t really speak on him specifically.

I also just hope that all the prosthetics on
Kevin Spacey’s face won’t prove too distracting. I doubt it’ll be as appalling as what was done on Zoe Saldana’s face for that unfortunate Nina Simone biopic that I’ll likely never watch. 😊

      1. I am a huge Ridley Scott fan and I’ve seen his last few works, and there is a lack of completion to them in a way that doesn’t work. And his work doesn’t usually have that – but you know his brother committed suicide and death of a loved one is rough. But I cannot imagine by suicide.

I feel like his work has changed drastically, and I noticed it around the time his brother died. I didn’t know? And someone who I commented on it to told me. So I kind of feel he needs to take a moment

I never saw the Nina Simone biopic either, lol. I just could not bring myself to pick it up.

        Love Kevin Spacey…

      2. Interesting points about Scott. I felt really bad about what happened to his brother. Really sad.

I love spacey too. I can’t wait to find out how things turn out for his character in House of Cards, when the show ends. It better be satisfying! 😄
