Quentin Tarantino has written a new movie based on Cliff Booth, a.k.a, Brad Pitt’s much-loved character in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2029).
Starring Pitt, Timothy Olyphant and Elizabeth Debicki, the focus of director David Fincher’s film, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is Booth’s backstory in his new role as a Hollywood fixer.
I’m surprised to find myself less enthused by this than anticipated. I might even be less enthused than I was after the first trailer which was only 11 seconds long.
Maybe Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was just the right amount for me. Fingers crossed that the next trailer will inspire more excitement because I really did enjoy Pitt’s character in Tarantino’s film.
What are your thoughts after seeing this trailer?

Yes, I’m hoping for things to finally click with trailer 3.
11 second teaser? I found a 1:30 teaser and I am all in. As this is a younger Cliff Booth, his recent plastic surgery will fit in perfectly. BTW I hate that he got plastic surgery. Men’s wrinkles equate to women’s breasts in my book. Damn, Brad, you earned every one of those wrinkles. Not the same as implants, but still variations on a theme.

I’m very glad that you like the new, longer trailer, Lisa. I’m simply not sold on the film just yet as something I personally want to see. Hopefully, I will be by trailer 3. 🤞🤞
As for Pitt’s face, I’m indifferent. I just care that his face can still move to express his emotions in the name of his craft, since he does it so well and I love to watch. 😁
