The Grinch stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the grumpy Christmas hating so and so who plans to ruin Christmas for all residents of the village of Whoville.

Directed by Yarrow Cheney and Scott Mosier, this looks very much like a remake of How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) which starred Jim Carey.

I’ll tune in for comparison purposes. I want to find out how The Grinch will fair against How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Another reason to watch is the appeal of ‘grumpy but cute.’ The Grinch is certainly grumpy. He’s also undoubtedly cute and beautifully green. The final reason to watch would of course be, you know, the bass in Cumberbatch’s voice. Clearly.
