Starring Daisy Ridley, Naomie Watts, Clive Owen and Tom Felton, Ophelia is the Claire McCarthy directed re-imagining of William Shapeare’s famous Hamlet.

Set in medieval-era Denmark, the queen’s brightest lady-in-waiting Ophelia, finds herself drawn to Hamlet, the charismatic and elusive crown prince. Their secretive love affair begins and soon outside forces threaten to derail their union and devastate the royal family for good. Now Ophelia must decide where her devotion will ultimately lie.

I’m in to see the Hamlet story from this new perspective. I’m also equally interested to watch Ridley in a role other than her very high profile Star Wars projects.

Another thing, is it just me for whom Keira Knightly came to mind while I looked at Ridley in this trailer?
