Beyoncé’s last visual album was a great example of all the arts coming together, and centred around music to create something truly special.
I’m looking forward to all of it; the music, visuals, design, poetry and lifting messages. I probably need to hurry up and watch the Lion King (2019).

Beyoncé’s track record when it comes to quality is pretty high, especially where creative expression around her music is concerned. Iimagine and hope that Black is King will be no different.
I’ve seen her in3 movies – outside of voice acting; Dreamgirls (2006) is one and Obsessed (2009) in which she stars with Idris Elba is another. There’s also Cadillac Records (2008) where she plays Etta James. I haven’t seen it but the trailer made it look like she did a great acting job.
It was “Obsessed” and I liked it a lot 🙂
I can’t believe it’s been more than 10 years since it was released! I don’t recall much about it but I do remember Beyoncé’s character being quite the badass towards the end. 🤓
