Olivia Colman, Anthony Hopkins, Ruful Sewell and Mark Gatiss are the stars of a new drama The Father.
Directed by Florian Zeller; Hopkins plays a man who refuses all assistance from his daughter as he ages. And as he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones and his own mind.
Certainly not a ‘light topic’ but a very interesting one.
The cast is fantastic and this trailer is so good I can hardly wait to watch. I’m looking forward to the truth coming out and for any bad people to disappear from Hopkin’s character’s life.
Olivia Williams, Imogen Poots, Ayesha Dharker and Roman Zeller also star.

He’s one of my favorites. Such presence and a great voice!
All very true. And films that look this good don’t happen often. I hope this is as great as the trailer suggests.
