Olivia Colman, Anthony Hopkins, Ruful Sewell and Mark Gatiss are the stars of a new drama The Father.

Directed by Florian Zeller; Hopkins plays a man who refuses all assistance from his daughter as he ages. And as he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones and his own mind.

Certainly not a ‘light topic’ but a very interesting one.

The cast is fantastic and this trailer is so good I can hardly wait to watch. I’m looking forward to the truth coming out and for any bad people to disappear from Hopkin’s character’s life.

Olivia Williams, Imogen Poots, Ayesha Dharker and Roman Zeller also star.

The Father Release Dates: December 18th, 2020 (US)…

From writer/director Harry Macqueen, new drama Supernova stars Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci as partners of 20 years, Sam and Tusker.

Since Tusker was diagnosed with early-onset dementia two years ago, their time together became the most important thing. And so they set off travelling across England in their visiting friends, family and places from their past.

I’m in to see if Supernova will be as revealing as Still Alice (2014), the most notable movie I’ve seen about early on-set dementia yet.

Lori Campbell, Ian Drysdale, Daneka Etchells, Julie Hannan, Pippa Haywood, Nina Marlin, Tina Louise Owens, John Alan Roberts and Sarah Woodward also star.
