TRIBES OF EUROPA (2021): New Trailer Starring Oliver Masucci, Melika Foroutan, David Ali Rashed, Emilio Sakraya…

In the world of new adventure/drama Tribes of Europa, the year is 2074 and Europe is split into many tribal states all fighting for dominance.

Emilio Sakraya, Henriette Confurius and David Ali Rashed play three siblings who are caught in the middle of the bloody war and are forced to forge their own paths.

This looks like a mix of other series on Netflix and elsewhere. I’m mostly intrigued because right away I like the main female villain Vevara (pictured above) and played by Melika Foroutan.

The trailer music is also a plus. I look forward to learning about the key characters, while hoping they’ll be very engaging indeed.

Oliver Masucci, Marie Mouroum, Alain Blazevic, Benjamin Sadler, Klaus Tange, James Faulkner, Igor Pecenjev,Hoji Fortuna and Adam Vacula also star.

Tribes of Europa Release Dates: February 19th, 2021 (US & UK), Netflix

PALMER (2021): New Trailer From Justin Timberlake, Ryder Allen, Juno Temple June Squibb…

Palmer (2021), Justin Timberlake, Apple TV+
Palmer (2021), Justin Timberlake, Apple TV+

Starring Justin Timberlake, Juno Temple, Ryder Allen, and June Squibb; Palmer is the story of the friendship between Eddie Palmer, an ex-convict (Timberlake) and a young boy (Allen) from a troubled home.

Directed by Fisher Stevens, Additional key cast includes Dean Winters, Alisha Wainwright, Wynn Everett and Jesse C. Boyd.

Firstly, random fact: the three main adult stars of this movie all have first names that start with J. Second, I’m in for what appears to be a notable Timberlake performance.

Lastly, I just want to see the evolution of Eddie’s friendship with the young boy. Especially after the child’s response soon after 1:25 into the trailer.

Charmin Lee, Jake Brennan, J.D. Evermore, Stephen Louis Grush, Lance E. Nichols, Stacie Davis, Carson Minniear, Hero Hunter and Theodus Crane also star.

Palmer Release Dates: January 29th, 2021, Apple TV+…

HOME (2020): The Things I Liked…

Home (2020), Apple TV+
Home (2020), Apple TV+

Apple TV’s Home documentary series is more than just eight episodes that showcase some of the most unique and inspiring homes in the world.

From Chicago, Maine, Bali, India, Hong Kong, New York Sweden and more, we get to learn about some awe-inspiring homes, as well as the visionary people behind them.

Focused on new ways to solve both existing and future problems in specific communities, we get to learn the moving stories behind the featured architects/designers and what inspires them to create the way they do. Every single episode may not appeal to you in the same way, because I certainly have my favourites. However, what happens in each episode is undoubtedly the kind of thing we need more of in the world.

Watch Home for a look at some possibilities that hadn’t even crossed your mind. And the moving stories of the people behind them. At the very least, you’re in for a memorable visual feast.

In order of appearance, the featured architects, artists designers and home owners featured in Home are Anders Solvarm (Sweden), Theaster Gates (Chicago), Elora Hardy (Bali), Gary Chang (Hong Kong), Athony Esteves (Maine), Anupama Kundoo (India), Chris Brown (Austin), David Hertz (Malibu) Alexandria Lafci (Mexico), Brett Hagler (Mexico) and Jason Ballard.

Trailer 2

I don’t believe I know much about Billie Eilish. The little I’ve heard of her music has been great but I’m yet to listen to a full song. This maybe surprising since I love James Bond movies and Eilish is responsible for the  theme song for No Time To Die (2021). However,  I do have a rule where I refuse to listen to a Bond theme song until I’m in the movie theatre watching the movie.

It’s strange, but for me, actually listening to the Bond theme some before watching the film feels like watching the first ten minutes of the movie before it’s released. I simply do not do such things.
