Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon are the stars of F1, a new drama/sport film directed by Joseph Kosinski.
The story follows Formula One driver Sonny Hayes (Pitt) who ends his retirement to mentor and team with younger driver, Joshua Pearce (Idris).
I don’t generally watch Formula One, but I am impressed by Lewis Hamilton, who will appear in this film at least once.
The story of greatness and the Pitt/Idris dynamic are the elements that have me most interested. Also, it appears we have plenty of exhilarating driving footage coming our way.
Are you an F1 fan? It’s certainly not a prerequisite in order to find this movie intriguing.

Damson and Brad are not a duo I imagined, but who doesn’t like a pleasant surprise, right?

Not an F1 fan per se, but the cast looks freegin fabulous. Hard to see in this clip, but it *almost* looks like Pitt has had some plastic surgery? Please, God, No! Al Pacino made a big mistake doing it and Brad would also.
I hadn’t noticed, but maybe he has. He still looks great though, right? As long as whatever they do isn’t botched and doesn’t affect an actor’s ability to act/emote, I’m okay with it. I had no idea that Pacino had anything done either. Perhaps my attention to detail isn’t what I thought it was. 😁
Gia, you would have to go way back to see Pacino pre-surgery, as in The Godfather movies and Serpico. I haven’t seen Pitt in anything in the last couple of months so will have to wait to see the movie to decide whether he still looks good to me. Still remembering him in Once Upon a Time… ooh la la on the roof!
I have a feeling that Pitt may remain handsome still. That jawline is too special! 😁
As for Pacino, taking a risk on surgery that early is quite something. I have such good memories of Scarface and The Godfather. 😊
I used to follow F1 when I was young but I got into other stuff later on. This does look interesting even though I have no clue what the story is about from the trailer. 😀
This trailer did a good job with the tease. All the unanswered questions, combined with the star power and the engaging camera work certainly help. I’ve concluded that any little interest in F1 is more about how much I connect with a driver’s story. That’s still not enough for me to want to go to a race though. 🤓
I never went but I followed all the races on TV for years.
