Director Barry Jenkins’s latest movie, Mufasa – The Lion King has a new more intriguing trailer. that stars Seth Rogen, Mads Mikkelsen, Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr.

I’ve decided I’ll try to watch Mufasa – The Lion King. Hopefully, unlike the first CGI The Lion KIng Movie (2019), I won’t be compelled to stop because my brain tells me something is off visually. And that I should watch an actual nature documentary instead.

I also don’t want to miss the Mufasa/Scar origin story. My fingers are crossed that I make it to the movie’s end this time.

Voiced by James Earl Jones, Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen and Beyoncé, to name just a few, the official trailer for the CGI/live-action version of The Lion King is here.

I’m happy to see that any previous concerns about how believable I’d find the CGI is more or less gone.

On a separate note, is it me or is the bass in James Earl Jones’s voice a little less pronounced than in the animated movie? Especially from 00:30 into the above trailer.

Shahadi Wright Joseph, Florence Kasumba, John Oliver and John Kani also star.
