Jason Sudeikis, Stephen Manas, Hannah Waddingham and Colin Blyth are the stars of new Apple TV+ comedy miniseries Ted Lasso.

Sudeikis plays Lasso, a US American Football coach who arrives in the UK to manage a struggling London soccer team, in the top flight of English football.

I’m always happy to see Sudeikis on screen. I’m even extra happy because Ted Lasso is set in what looks to be a surprisingly sunny England. I say bring on all the Jokes at England’s expense, I love those!

Also, considering how very seriously the British take football, I’m intrigued about how a football manager who supposedly knows very little about the game actually got the job.

Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Bradley Wj Miller, Adam Colborne, Bronson Webb and Moe Jeudy-Lamour also star.
