KYLIE (2026): The Things I Liked…

She was like this sort of beam of light. With this incredible positivity. Just this sort of bold brightness.’

That’s musician Nick Cave describing Australian singer/actress Kylie Minogue. A description that doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, since in my mind, Minogue has always come across as one of the most charming, likeable and unproblematic pop stars around.

Director Michael Harte’s documentary Kylie explores her life, career, personal losses, illness, and how she navigated public scrutiny through interviews and Minogue’s personal archives.

As someone who’s always liked the little I knew of Minogue, it was satisfying to learn more about her story and how she pulled through all the challenging phases of her life. The most satisfying part for me was seeing her finally find her voice.

If you’re a fan of Miss Minogue, whether it’s her music, acting, or simply the person she appears to be, watch Kylie and spend some time with one of pop music’s true princesses.

KYLIE (2026): New Trailer For Kylie Minogue Documentary…

Directed by Michael Harte, new documentary Kylie is about Australian singer/actor Kylie Minogue.

Diving into her personal archives and through interviews, Minogue reflects on her career, addresses public scrutiny, illness and personal loss.

Jason Donovan, Pete Waterman, Nick Cave and her sister Dannii Minogue are among those featured, including Kylie herself, of course.

Who doesn’t love a non-problematic queen?

I wouldn’t call myself Minogue’s biggest fan, but she has always come across as a lovely human whose story I’m intrigued by.

As for my favourite Kylie songs, they would be Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (though I may like the music video more than the song) and Kids.

Are you a Kylie fan?

Kylie Release Dates: May 20th, 2026 (US & UK)…
