Based on the hit children’s TV series and directed by Dean Israelite, Power Rangers stars Elizabeth Banks, Bill Hader and Bryan Cranston. The actual  Power Rangers are played by Ludi Lin (The Black Ranger), RJ Cyler (The Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott (The Pink Ranger), Becky G (The Yellow Ranger) and Dacre Montgomery (The Red ranger). They are a group of are high school students infused with superpowers that they must harness to save the world…

I used to watch the TV series growing up. Something – namely the trailer plus the high number of super hero movies in recent years and my current feelings about the phenomenon (boredom) tells me that I should probably leave this movie to the die-hard fans and the young people who are still  into the TV series. I haven’t quite fully decided just yet.
