As fully expected, I had fun watching Zootopia 2. That’s easy to do when the story, animation style, and dialogue are so well put together. Thank you to the filmmaking team for the giggles, the smiles, and the escape into a wonderfully colourful animated world where everything is put right just in time, a world where a rabbit cop and her fox friend reunite to solve another complicated and perilous case.

Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, Fortune Feimster, and Quinta Brunson, I say, definitely watch Zootopia 2, especially if you enjoyed Zootopia (2016).

That said, the first Zootopia remains my favourite. Partly because it is great, and partly because there’s something special about the first experience of a great thing. After all,  you never forget your first. It was also probably always going to be impossible to top the original soundtrack’s main song. It’s just too memorable, uplifting, and catchy not to miss as the new song played. 

Lastly, super silly question, but which song do you prefer?

Watch Zootopia 2 because it’s rather good.
