If like myself you didn’t fully keep up with the high profile Anthony Weiner sexting scandals when they were happening a few years ago, todays documentary  trailer is for you…

Directed by josh Kriegman and Elyse Steinberg, Weiner takes us behind the scenes of the disgraced New York Congressman’s mayoral campaign as it looks at the political climate in today’s America.

The above trailer seems to be promising a healthy serving of humour and that is something I cannot miss out on. It’s  because of said humour that I now have flashbacks of scenes from HBO’s political satire comedy series, Veep and the original British version, The Thick Of It running through my mind.

Humour aside, it can’t be easy for Weiner to reflect on what his career might have been.
