The first time I saw the trailer for Southside With You, the story of Michelle and Barack Obama’s first date, my initial thought was ‘boring!’

But then, after watching the trailer a few more times an hour or so later, I still think the movie has the potential to be quite dull. However, like most I’m quite partial to a little romance. So maybe it won’t be terrible. Especially if the chemistry between the film’s stars Parker Sawyers and Tika Sumpter is just right. I’m not sure yet, based on this trailer…

In terms of what we’re likely to see in the movie, probably a serving of the attributes we may already know of and love about the President and First Lady. However, I’m hoping that  we’ll be pleasantly surprised by a few things too.
