The One About Matthew Perry is Netflix’s three-episode documentary about Friends actor Matthew Perry.
Directed by Mary Robertson, the documentary sees Perry’s family and friends talk about the late actor, his humour, vulnerability, generous spirit and personal struggles.
He was my favourite Friend. He said what I was thinking, but couldn’t quite articulate, with matching humour and skill.
I think I’ll make time for this one. After all, I’ve watched every Friends episode at least five times, and more time with the source of so much amusement for me over the years feels like time well spent.
Are you a Friends fan too? Which Friend did you connect with most?

I’d say Chandler as well. There’s a bit of Ross in me, but mostly it was him I connected to the most. I don’t know much about him behind the scenes, but I enjoyed his movies as well. I know vaguely about his addictions and struggles which seems to be quite common among comedians especially.
He left an impression and will be remembered.
Peace be to Matthew. I loved Chandler too; him and Monica.
