The teaser trailer for the sequel to Trainspotting (1996) is here. Directed by Danny boyle and starring Ewan McGregor,  Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Ewen Bremner, this teaser, I can promise is not as pointless as the previous one for there is a little something to get the imagination of fans of the original going…

In all honesty, I can barely remember what happens in the first film. Something to do with having actually never seen it, perhaps. Or I may have  just forgotten since it was released 20 years ago.

I am ready now though and I look forward to finding out about all the hype before the second instalment gets here. Something tells me that regardless of the title the movie probably has very little indeed to do with actual train spotting. I could be wrong of course.
