Todays trailer is a perfect one for Valentines Day, especially if you’re a teenager.
At first I thought this was the Amandla Stenberg film that she’s making with Amma Asante – director of Belle (2014) but instead, and not in a bad way, Everything, Everything is the story of a teenage girl who falls for the boy next door. Except, as is the case for many a love story, there’s a major obstacle in the way, she can’t go outside and never has because she’s allergic to everything.
It feels mighty cruel to release the trailer for a potentially good romantic film on Valentines Day instead of the actual film itself, doesn’t it?
FYI, that wonderful song at the end is Naughty Boy – Runnin’ (Lose It All) ft. BeyoncĂ©, Arrow Benjamin.

I’m a Stenberg fan and I’ve only seen her in one movie. I’m just so impressed by her because I’ve heard her say some very smart things for such a young lady 🙂
