THE GLASS CASTLE (2017): New Trailer From Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson, Naomi Watts…

The perfectly titled The Glass Castle stars Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson and Naomi Watts. Written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the story centres around a young girl’s coming of age in a poor, dysfunctional family of nonconformist nomads…

The subject matter, this trailer and the actors have me so interested in this movie. Stories about parent / offspring relationships especially once the children are grown up are always interesting to me. Also, what wonderful roles these are for all the actors involved.

Max Greenfield and Sarah Snook also star.

The Glass Castle release Dates: August 11th, 2017 (US)…

Happy Film Loving

  1. It is nice to see Brie Larson and Naomi Watts here, but Woody Harrelson’s cast just amazes me because although I used to watch his films a lot in the past, I am ashamed to admit that I am completely in the dark what he is up to now and lost track on him maybe late 1990s. I mostly remember him from Indecent Proposal (1993), Natural Born Killers (1994) and The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996).

    1. Harrelson has definitely been very busy. I can’t think of a time when I thought, ‘where is Woody, I haven’t seen him in a movie for some time.’ 🙂 The films that you’ve listed are absolute classics so it’s hard to forget someone in those.

I recommend checking out his filmography on IMDb. He’s had a movie out every single year EXCEPT 2/ 3 since 1993.

      1. He was in “No Country for Old Men” (2007), wasn’t he? I guess after 1990s he was in the genre of films that I don’t immediately rush to see. I have to change that.

  2. I wasn’t too sure since I don’t always appreciate family drama films, but that big sky country hooked me right in. Thanks for pointing this one out – I hadn’t heard of it yet.

  3. I’m very interested in seeing this! It shares the same director as Short Term 12 (Destin Daniel Cretton) and that was a brilliant film. Larson was incredible in that. Just knowing that she is teaming up with Cretton again is worth giving this one a watch 🙂

Are you very familiar with Short Term 12?

      1. She was incredible in Room. That film stayed with me awhile after I saw it.

      2. Likewise considering how dark and real those realities are for some people .I was so happy when all that viewers had been hoping for finally happened. Larson is great. I watched her in a Hollywood Reporter Roundtable interview with other brilliant actresses and I liked her even more after that. 🙂
