I just now finished watching Sutherland in Backdraft speak about how he wants to burn the whole world down… The power of acting to transform people into entirely new beings with each film 🙂
I don’t think I’ve seen that yet but I do recall liking his work in Don’t Look Now (1973). It’s true what you say about acting. I imagine that’s where the fun lies for the actors. I’m sure it can also be quite therapeutic in some ways, depending on the subject matter and the actor’s own life experience, of course.
