Set in the first century C.E, Mary Magdalene is a new drama about controversial biblical character, friend and follower of Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene…
Garth Davis directs while Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix and Chiwetel Ejiofor star…
I don’t know that Phoenix as Jesus Christ feels like a perfect casting instinctually. However I’m very open to be proven wrong, especially since Phoenix is quite the talent.
Also, not that this movie will be as brutal as Mel Gibson’s The Passion of The Christ (2004) – but I kind of don’t want to sign up to witness all that violence again. It’s a tough one since I want to watch the story of Mary Magdalene, sadly there’s just no telling her story without Jesus particularly because she’s with him till the very unfortunate end. What to do, what to do…
Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Ariane Labed, Ryan Corr, Tahar Rahim and Lubna Azabal also star.
Mary Maggalene Release Dates: March 16th, 2018 (UK); March 30th, 2018 (US)…

This may be good but the trailer’s only okay, so…
Too bad it won’t be here in time for Christmas. I would love a Christ story (or Mary Magdalene story) for Christmas this year
Maybe you can pull out The Passion Of The Christ Again. When did you last watch it?
I saw it in the theater. Don’t believe I own a copy. Maybe I should add a few titles to my DVD queue before it’s too late! Want to watch them by Christmas
You have 20 days to make it happen. So there’s time, though will likely fly by. 😊
Doesn’t time always fly? lol
Your response can only mean two things, 1) you’re having plenty of fun which is great! 2) You’re perhaps somewhat more lets say ‘mature’ than your profile photo suggests. Since, you know, I hear that the older one gets the quicker time passes by. ☺️😄😉
I was born older 😉 I once in my twenties dated a woman in her forties who called me “Old Man” for my old ways… Ce la vie
That, is certainly intriguing. 😀
