The 1970s are drawing to a close and securing an appropriate bride for Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor), who still happens to be unmarried at 30 is a key focus in season 4 of The Crown.
There’s also the divisive policies introduced by Britain’s first female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson). Tensions arise between her and the Queen (Olivia Colman) as Britain begins to feel the impact of Thatcher’s policies and the Prime Minister leads the country into the Falklands War.
I’m still yet to watch a single episode of The Crown and it’s mainly due to lack of time. I’ll have to see it eventually though, even if it’s just to experience fully the acting power in this trailer.
I particularly can’t wait to watch Anderson’s turn as Margaret Thatcher, a.k.a The Iron Lady. The dynamic and dialogue between her and Queen Elizabeth II looks like a lot of fun to watch. I
‘m also curious about Corrin who’ll be playing Princess Diana; a very important role indeed. I’d have been quite happy if the lady in this video got that part. I’m not even sure she auditioned, but she sure does look like her, no?

The Movie My Life 
My hubby got me hooked on The Crown on season 1. When I heard that Gillian Anderson was going to play Thatcher, I had my doubts. Now that I have seen the transformation, I, like you can’t wait to see it.
Glad you enjoy it. I never really saw G. Anderson much in The X Files but re-discovered her in Netflix comedy series Sex Education. Her character is fun in it. And now with the Thatcher role, I’m officially on the Anderson band wagon.
I was an X Files fan and watched her in the Fall. I never watched Sex Education but heard it was good. Might have to check that one out. I’m excited for season 4 of the Crown tho. For me, season 3 was one of the best.
Now I really have to make time for The Crown. I tend to be a bit late with hit shows. I didn’t get into Game of Thrones untill season six had been released. That’s partly because I hate having to wait a week for a new episode and I’d rather have a whole bunch to look forward to.
I’m the same with a lot of shows as well.
My sister & I have been patiently waiting 4 season 4 !!! The acting the costumes everything about The Crown seasons 1-3 were on point I am excited to watch the dynamics between Diana & the Queen I’m also curious about how much of Diana’s life will be shown if they’ll cover her death? I can understand either way if they do or don’t

It will be interesting to see how much of the Princess’s life we’ll get to see. Something tells me they may not cover her death, at least not extensively, perhaps. I could be wrong though. As long as if it is done, they do it respectfully.
