Stars of Marvel’s Avengers movies, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are back in new Marvel Entertainment series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
With additional key cast including Wyatt Russell, Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl; the show will focus on Mackie and Stan’s Falcon and The Winter Soldier characters. More detail yet to be confirmed. Howver, you can bet that the world is going to need saving.
I’m interested to see whether the series will feel as epic as the movies. I’mean, it’s Marvel, which means at that the very least, it’s going to come incredibly close.
I’m also curious about the Mackie/Stan dynamic. Particularly since it already feels strange knowing that Steve Rogers/Captain American is nowhere in sight.
Desmond Chiam, John Gettier, Miki Ishikawa, Adepero Oduye, Shane Berengue and Neal Kodinsky also star.

I think it will be strange to see the Captain’s symbol everywhere, but no Captain. Yet, I remain convinced we’ll get used to it.
Fingers crossed you’re right about not missing Captain America too much. I look forward to finding out what the female characters get up to in the series.
I’m looking forward to this one as well, but it’s happened several times in the comics where Steve has passed on the mantel of CA. But we’ve gotten so used to seeing him in the cinema version that I think it will seem different at first, but Sam and Bucky are engaging also I think this will be good.
Thanks for clarifying. It’s a new era but it’s still Marvel so, chances are they’ll make it work so well that I’ll forget I had any doubt in the first place.
