In Pedro Almodóvar’s English language debut, The Human Voice, Tilda Swinton plays a woman who watches time passing next to the suitcases of her ex-lover.

Also starring Agustín and Pablo Almodóvar; the aforementioned ex-lover is supposed to come pick up her and her restless dog, but never arrives.

I’m quite sure I’ve never featured a short film on this blog until now. But when you’ve got award winning names such as Almodóvar and Swinton attached, I simply couldn’t resist. Especially considering the visuals in this trailer.

I cant wait to take in what this thirty minute film has to offer. I’m also curious to see how much dialogue there’ll be, and how engaging; particularly if there’s no going to be very little dialogue, if any at all.
