Starring Tom Holland, Zendeya, Marisa Tomei ,Benedict Cumberbatch, and directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man – No Way Home; a.k.a. Spider-Man 3 has a rather good looking new trailer. One that has amassed more than sixty six million views since its release, three weeks ago.
Tom Holland has played Spider-Man for nearly four years, and only now am I ready to watch his first movie as the webbed crusader? Wait, I’m sure ‘webbed crusader’ isn’t right. Anyway, I haven’t watched a single Spider-Man movie since Tobey Maguire played the much-loved superhero between 2002 and 2007. As for why that is, the trailer’s starring Andrew Garfield just didn’t feel as though there was enough newness to them, for me – and it certainly didn’t feel as though enough time had passed to consider the new releases worthwhile.
Fast forward to now, it’s arguable that fourteen years is more than sufficient time between Maguire’s films and Holland’s Spider-Man No Way Home, and I probably agree. However, more than the years between the movies, I finally have a Spider-Man trailer that offers me something intriguing enough that I want to watch the story all over again. I’m certain there’ll be a semi-healthy level of newness to enjoy, even if it is only technological, which I’m thinking it’s not.
The thing that has me most curious is the idea of a world where Spider-Man’s identity is no secret to anyone. Then there’s the enlisting of Doctor Strange to get things sorted – lastly, the suggestion that Strange’s involvement is just ‘too dangerous‘.
Based on what many have been saying, I’m sure I won’t regret it starting someday soon by watching Spider-Man – Homecoming. Fingers, toes and everything crossed.
Spider-Man – No Way Home Release Dates: December 17th, 2021 (US & UK)…
Happy Film loving

Tobey Maguire is perfect as Spidey, and not just him but the whole cast too. I haven’t seen any of the others because of that (like you!) but this cast list looks good so maybe. . .
Yeah! Another Tobey fan! ππ₯³
You’ll like Holland’s acrobatic skills. It’s part of the reason he got the job.
Of course! π€ I hear he can dance too. I’ll just have to wait for the right mood to hit me one of these days.
I rewatched the Tobey movies for the first time in years and much as I love Holland in the role I prefer Tobey’s Peter as a character. Can’t wait to see if all those Multiverse rumors are true π
I should probably rewatch Tobeyβs movies before starting Tomβs. The only bad thing I remember of the former is the character James Franco plays. His acting in that role wasnβt the best.
As for the multiverse stuff. Itβs probably true and it would be amazing to see Tobey suit up again. I know I really want it to be true. π€π€π€π€π€π€ππ
I can not wait to see this. First off I will say when Tobey Maguire was replaced by Garfield, I was not happy. Yes, I did still see the movies but they still felt lacking. Tom Holland grew on me. At first I had a hard time not seeing him as Lucas from The Impossible. But I really have grown to like him, not to mention I really like how his Spider-Man fits in the same universe as the Avengers. I really loved the connection he and Tony Stark had in the previous movies…but of course I wont spoil it for you. You really should give them a try.
Yes, from what all I have read this movie will most likely lead into or have a lot to do with Dr. Strange 2 and the Multiverse of Madness (as will Wanda Vision and Loki supposedly). This will probably be the last time we will get to see Spider-Man in the MCU world tho since the contract with Sony will come to an end and it’s most likely the end of the MCU phase 3. But I do believe this will go out with a bang. The only thing is, there are supposedly going to be a lot of characters showing up from previous movies and even from the comics in general, that I hope it doesn’t get too “crowded”. I am going to be excited to see how Daredevil and possibly the other variants might meet each other. I know I’ll be along for the ride.
I will definitely get on Board with Hollands Spidey films. I’ve rather enjoyed his persona in interviews. It will be good to see the blockbuster movies that put him there.
I always appreciate your in depth Marvel Knowledge, Christy. Thanks so much for sharing. π€
