Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for the fourth instalment of the Bad Boys movie franchise.
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah; this time, Mike lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) are on the run.
Hello, fun!
I say bring on the famous Lowrey/Burnett shenanigans and funny dialogue. I’m also looking forward to seeing Eric Dane, a.k.a. McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy as what looks to be a villain.
Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Rhea Seehorn, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Melanie Liburd, Jacob Scipio and Tasha Smith also star.
Bad Boys – Ride or Die Release Dates: June 7th, 2024 (US & UK)…
Happy Film Loving,

Looking forward to its release. This entry looks to have the same solid mix of humor and action I enjoy from this “dynamic duo.”
‘Solid’ is exactly right. 🥳🥂
Looking forward to more roasting at Burnett’s expense. 😄
You know it! 😁
We love a buddy cop! Looks like flashy violent fun. I also detect inspiration from the Fast Franchise and 22 Jump Street. Or rather, ‘re-mentions’ back at those newer franchises. Bad Boys have roots back to ’95🛥💥🥂
I like that good buddy cop movies can’t help but reference each other at least once. I think the first one I saw was probably Beverly Hills Cop; even though Axel F had more than one so-called buddy, and largely insisted on working solo, if I recall correctly.
Axel F this summer! Lethal Weapon is another early influence in this beloved niche genre.
Yes, I have high hopes for Axel F. It wouldn’t surprise me if another Lethal Weapon movie was in the works right now.
I will put this on the list!
Smart plan, dearest Tiffany. 🤓🥂
Sounds like a good plot, and I like the franchise. Definitely will be seeing it. This is Will’s first movie since the “Chris Rock Incident” isn’t it? I don’t want to open that can of worms again, but after watching Chris doing standup and covering it, I think Will made the right choice. Rock needed a slap 😉
I think it’s the first movie that he both made and released since then. However, he made Emancipation before the incident and released it after. No wonder it seems to be largely forgotten.
Also, it looks like Will has fully recovered from that debacle. Time can often make all the difference.
Oh yes, I forgot about Emancipation. It hasn’t shown up at the library for a borrow either.
Oh, wow! Looks like it just ‘disappeared.’ I’m sure there’s probably much better work available from Smith than Emancipation.
