From writer/director Tony Gilroy of Michael Clayton (2007) and Nightcrawler (2014) comes Behemoth, a love letter to the music of film and those who make it.
The story centres on Pedro Pascal’s character as he returns home to Los Angeles. He also happens to be a musician who comes from a family of musicians.
Additional key cast includes Will Arnett, Olivia Wilde and Matthew Lillard.
Cool trailer edit.
I’m glad to see Pascal, even if this doesn’t fall in the easy-viewing category. That said, I’m sure Behemoth will be good, and not as dark and uncomfortably atmospheric like the brilliant and disturbing Nighcrawler.
Are you drawn to Behemoth too? As a film obsessive, I feel as though I can’t help but be curious.
Side note, my fingers keep wanting to type ‘Behemouth’ instead of Behemoth for some reason.
Hank Azaria, Eva Victor, Margarita Levieva, Adam Rose and JoBeth Williams also star.
Behemoth Release Dates: December 4th 2026 (US)…

After Andor, Gilroy is a hot property. This certainly looks like a quality production.
Such truth you speak! 🤓
sounds good!
Agreed, fully. 🤓🥂
This looks and sounds like it honors the art of movie music making. With such a solid cast and Tony Gilroy helming, it should be a good film…maybe even a “film within a film.” Might be a lot more going on here. Count me in.
There really does seem to be plenty happening, and in a satisfying way. I’m excited to see Pascal and the rest of the brilliant cast do their thing.
I like the premise, I will watch!
It really is a great premise. I agree. It helps that the cast is great too. 🤓
