Tron Ares is the title, and Evan Peters, Gillian Anderson, Greta Lee, plus Jared Leto are the stars of a story about a highly sophisticated program named Ares.
I’m more than ready for all the beautiful red visuals in this movie. So much so that how promising the story and the action sequences look feels like a bonus.

I have a mixed relationship with Tron. I loved the visuals and the world aesthetics since the first one that signed a digital revolution in VFX that fully blossomed two decades later. Story is a bit strange (very Hollywood POV of a technical subject matter they don’t really understand) and hard to connect with beyond the surface.
That said, the trailer looks exciting! 😁
Interesting take. I’ll likely go into this not expecting too much beyond excellent visuals and possibly a good soundtrack. That way, I’ll come out mostly satisfied, and anything good will be a bonus.
Looks good from the trailer. A Tron movie without Jeff Bridges is no movie at all. I’m glad they had the common sense to include him.

The visuals were the biggest strength of the otherwise lackluster Tron: Legacy. Tron: Ares looks about the same, but I am intrigued by the premise.
