Trying is a new comedy starring Rafe Spall, Imelda Staunton and Esther Smith.

Set in the UK, Smith and Spall play a young couple as they navigate the adoption process in their journey to becoming parents.

My thoughts as this trailer played include:

‘I wonder how similar this will be compared to Instant Family (2018)?’

Either way, I’m hoping for some refreshing comedy and a happy ending for two seemingly decent people.

Robyn Cara, Sarah Niles, Jonathan Rhodes, Simon Bubb, Diana Pozharskaya, Amber Aga and Darren Boyd also star.
