Created by Ben Watkins, The Greatest is an eight-episode series that chronicles the highs and lows of the life of Muhammad Ali.
Starring Jaalen Best, as Ali, the story explores the personal relationships behind his public persona and the moments that shaped his iconic status.
Having already seen Ali’s story depicted several times in different ways, I’m interested, not just to learn what I may not already know about the boxing hero of millions. But also to marvel at Best’s seemingly flawless casting and portrayal.
It no doubt help’s that he resembles Ali to such an extent that I wouldn’t think twice if told he were his nephew.
Anyone else notice how much this trailer is reminiscent of this magnificent one minute forty seven seconds right here?
Michael Ealy, Lacey Creighton, Amin Joseph, Jim Chad, Dave Davis, Brandon McKnight, Rico E. Anderson, Elias Leacock, Aimé Donna Kelly, Jerod Haynes, Kaya Coleman, Adrian Alvarado, Brandon Victor Dixon, Cesili Williams and Tyee Tilghman also star.
The Greatest Release Dates: November 4th, 2026 (US)…

This one looks really interesting, G. There is a lot of life to stuff into eight episodes, but I’m going to keep my eye on this for a potential watch.
Agreed, eight episodes are a good amount of time to get things right. Fingers crossed they do.
It’s good to see a biography afforded the number of episodes reasonably needed to tell a story fully.
Amen! 🤓🥂
