A mind-bending three-year journey is the result; an intimate portrait of notorious Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was the intention.
Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, You Can See Everything follows Holmes’s invitation to a sceptical film crew to document her every move, just thirty-four days before she is sent to prison for defrauding investors.
What to say about this one.
I don’t know if I can watch this. It may be the close-ups and general styling of the trailer, but the thought of spending nearly three hours watching Holmes’s character is likely too unsettling for me.
So far, I’ve only been able to sit through this trailer from start to finish just once. I tried a few more times, a day or two apart, but I simply cannot.
I guess the YouTube comments likening it to a psychological horror film are correct, because I cannot watch those either.
