Kate Beckinsale, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Damson Idris and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s new film, Farming is not going to be an easy one to watch.
It’s the story of a young Nigerian boy, ‘farmed out’ by his parents to a white British family in the hope of a better future.
Based on writer / director Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s actual life, instead of things going as his parents dreamed, Akinnuoye-Agbaje becomes the feared leader of a white skinhead gang…
A beyond heart breaking story that is at the core, a tale of survival, I intend to watch this. I’ll just make sure I’m not already having a bad day when I do. Knowing that Akinnuoye-Agbaje made it through is what makes me even more determined to dedicate the required time. I can’t wait to find out how he got to the other side of hate.
Jaime Winstone, John Dagleish, Theo Barklem-Biggs, Ann Mitchell, Genevieve Nnaji and Skye Lourie also star.
Farming Release Dates: October 11th, 2019 (UK)…
