TONY (2026): New Trailer Starring Dominic Sessa, Antonio Banderas, Rich Sommer, Leo Woodall…

Dominic Sessa stars as American chef and travel documentarian Anthony Bourdain in new drama/biography, Tony.

Directed by Matt Johnson, the story follows a 19-year-old Bourdain on the summer he spent working in a restaurant kitchen, an experience that would change the course of his life.

Antonio Banderas, Leo Woodall and Rich Sommer are among the key cast.

I did not realise who this movie was about until the very end. This shouldn’t be surprising, perhaps since Bourdain was a character whose name I heard about in relation to food and his love for people, more than I engaged with his content.

I do remember feeling sad to learn of his passing, though, especially since he meant so much to so many.

I like that this looks like a good film, one that I may just watch. Even though the only thing Sessa shares with Bourdain, features-wise, seems to be his hair.

Were you a Bourdain fan? How’s this looking to you?

Emilia Jones, Dagmara Dominczyk, Monica Raymund, Stavros Halkias, Declan Condon, Hannah Leigh Kelly, Caroline Portu, Derek K. Moore and Michael Jibrin also star.

Tony Release Dates: August 7th, 2026 (US)…

JEREMIAH TOWER – THE LAST MAGNIFICENT (2016): New Trailer For Documentary About Celebrated American Chef, Jeremiah Tower

Jeremiah Tower - The Last Magnificent (2016), Jeremiah Tower
Jeremiah Tower – The Last Magnificent (2016), Jeremiah Tower

Jeremiah Tower – The Last Magnificent is a new documentary about Jeremiah Tower, the American chef who transformed the restaurant industry, helped create the cult of the ‘celebrity chef’ and is a major influence for many of the famous chefs of today.

I’m intrigued by those for whom cooking is a passion because it’s not mine. I want to know about Tower’s influence and the story of the level of greatness he was able to achieve.

Lastly, unlike my unfortunate predicament when I watched Chef (2014) (my favourite ‘foodie movie’), this time I’ll be sure to have my favourite foods within reach as the documentary plays, and you probably should too.

Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent Release Dates: April 21st, 2017 (US)…
