Paterno is a Barry Levinson directed drama / biography about Joe Paterno, the most successful coach in college football history and how he became embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal.

Riley Keough and Tess Frazer co-star…

I’ve been ready for a great Al Pacino performance. I’ve been waiting (for far too long in my opinion) and finally, it looks like this movie may just be what I’ve been waiting for. The scenes where Paterno is forced to face tough questions about institutional failure should be a highlight…. fingers crossed.

Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hank Azaria and Alessandro Nivola are the stars of The Wizard Of Lies, an HBO movie about Bernie Madoff and his Ponzi scheme. A scheme specifically known as the largest  financial fraud in United States history…

Of course I’ll be tuning in! De Niro is as watchable as ever, I’m excited to see Michelle Pfeiffer in a movie again and the story is so very intriguing. Even more so because I didn’t really pay close attention to the news when Madoff was all over it back in 2008.

I’m so ready for a good drama like this.

The Wizard Of Lies is directed by Barry Levinson.

The Wizard Of Lies Release Dates: May 20th, 2017 (HBO)…

Perhaps I’m showing my age, but I’ve never properly understood why everyone seems to think that Bill Murray is so very cool.

Not to say that he isn’t but it does look like his latest film Rock The Kasbah will likely help me understand.

Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel, Kate Hudson and Danny McBride also star. The trailer doesn’t reveal very much but it does have promise.
