Directed by Australian singer/songwriter Sia, Music is a new drama/musical starring Kate Hudson, Maddie Ziegler, Ben Schwartz and Leslie Odom Jr.

Exploring two of Sia’s favourite themes, finding your voice and creating family; Music is the story of Zu (Hudson) and Music (Ziegler). Newly sober, Zu is the older half sister of Music, a young girl on the autism spectrum for whom she’s now become sole guardian.

I’m curious about Ziegler’s acting because playing someone on the spectrum and doing it justice is quite the challenge. Most of all, what I’m in for is the music. And a chance to see Hudson performing again. No doubt being a businesswoman with Fabletics has been keeping her busy.

Juliette Lewis, Mary Kay Place, Hector Elizondo, Tig Notaro, Brandon Soo Hoo, Parvesh Cheena, Christina Veronica, Chris Silcox, Angelina Capozzoli and Blair Williamson also star.

Music Release Dates: February 12th, 2021 (US),

Deepwater Horizon is the latest from Mark Wahlberg, the story about the explosion of the drilling rig that caused the worst oil spill in US history…

Teaser trailer

I like what they’ve done concept wise with this teaser trailer, though I don’t find myself particularly excited about the movie at this point. Perhaps the release of the non-teaser will change that – and it has…

No doubt the ending will be heroic. I’m really hoping that Gina Rodriguez’s character doesn’t die.

John Malkovich, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell and Dylan O’brien also star.

Deepwater Horizon Release Dates: September 30th, 2016 (US & UK); September 29th, 2016 (GER); October 12th, 2016 (FR)…

MOTHER’S DAY (2016): New Trailer Starring Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts & Kate Hudson

If you’re familiar with Valentine’s Day (2010) and New Years Eve (2011), then you have a pretty  good idea of what you’re in for with Mother’s Day, the latest film from the director of all three movies, Garry Marshall.

Starring Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis and Timothy Olyphant, the collision of intersecting stories on said holiday is what happens in Mother’s Day

Having watched both Valentine’s Day and New Years Eve, I found both movies to be somewhat adequately entertaining and a casual escape; precisely what I’m expecting with Marshall’s latest comedy / drama.

Jack Whitehall, Brit Robertson, Shay Mitchell and Aasif Mandvi also star.

Mother’s Day Release Dates: April 29th, 2016 (US); June 17th, 2016 (UK)…

KUNG FU PANDA 3 (2016): Fun New Trailer Starring Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Bryan Cranston…

Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016)
Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016)

Read my spoiler-free movie review of Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016).

Just when I thought I’d have to wait until the next Minion movie for a serious overload of cuteness…

I’ve seen pandas in real life and let me say, yes they are very cute but pandas can also be incredibly boring! Sitting around and eating bamboo all day long. So… thank heavens for overactive imaginations – the result of which, in this case is the above really fun trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3.

I love that the Kung Fu Panda movies are about finding your true self as well as being funny and cute – something I’m always happy to get more of.

Jack Black, Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Brian Cranston and Dustin Hoffman are providing just some of the key voices.

Kung Fu Panda 3 Release Date (s): January 29th, 2016, March 11th, 2016 (UK)…

Perhaps I’m showing my age, but I’ve never properly understood why everyone seems to think that Bill Murray is so very cool.

Not to say that he isn’t but it does look like his latest film Rock The Kasbah will likely help me understand.

Bruce Willis, Zooey Deschanel, Kate Hudson and Danny McBride also star. The trailer doesn’t reveal very much but it does have promise.
