I’m excited about Arrival because of its director, Denis Villeneuve. His delivery of atmosphere, tension, a brilliant musical score and cinematography in Sicario (2015) was fantastic. As such, we can all expect to be delighted whilst being equally terrified.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the aliens fully look like. Fingers crossed that when we get to see them, the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) won’t leave too much to be desired.

Something else we can probably all prepare to see in Arrival is a brilliant performance from Amy Adams. Her character is clearly terrified but the people around her don’t seem to be very attuned to that fact.
