Written / directed by  Alice Winocour, Proxima focuses on the chaos that ensues in the mother / daughter relationship…

I’m interested in the struggle with knowing that not going isn’t an option while also knowing that saying no is completely out of the question.

Co-written and directed by Til Schweiger,  Head Full Of Honey is the story of a man suffering from Alzheimer’s who embarks on a final road trip with his granddaughter.

Key cast includes Matt Dillon, Nick Nolte, Emily Mortimer, Claire Forlani, Eric Roberts…

I couldn’t help but notice what a good casting choice it was to have Nolte and Dillon play father and son. They kind of look alike, no? My overactive imagination also has me picturing an actual head full of honey. A visual that makes me think of two things ‘yummy’ and ‘Winnie The Pooh.’

I’m basically already preparing myself for film-induced weeping with this one. Fingers crossed it’ll all be worth it.
