DO NOT RESIST (2016) New Trailer For Documentary About The State Of Policing In America

Do Not Resist (2016).
Do Not Resist (2016).

A growing number of American towns and cities are now arming themselves with expensive military-grade equipment. Do not Resist, the new documentary from Craig Atkinson looks at this phenomenon and the overall current state and possible future of policing in the United States.

I’m especially curious to learn more about ‘righteous violence’ – a term apparently used in police training seminars…

Beginning on the streets of Ferguson, Missouri – post the August 9th, 2014 shooting of Michael Brown, Do not Resist won’t be easy to watch but I’m guessing it will be worth it. Especially since it’s the Best Documentary winner at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.

Do Not Resist Release Dates: September 30th, 2016 (US)…
