New action/crime/drama/thriller, Primetime has Robert Pattinson starring as Chris Hansen, a journalist who investigates a criminal underworld, leading to a notable shift in television.

Directed by Lance Oppenheim, additional key cast includes Anna Faris, Phoebe Bridgers and Jonathan Lipnicki.

I’d like to say that I know exactly what this is about and where it’s going, but I don’t, so I can’t.

However, I am interested because it’s Pattinson. Additionally, Pattinson’s seemingly creepy character brings to mind Jake Gylenhaal’s super creepy turn as Louis Bloom in the great Nightcrawler (2014).
